WE NEED NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
When I signed up to run, I considered everyone, I have a small business and understand what people are going through as My family has made many sacrifices; We have my son, daughter in law and grandson (North Clackamas student) living with us.
I have been working for and with the kids/teens for years. The current board divided the new high school by income not by a good boundary. I managed many union employees over the years and was a part of the collective bargaining team, and managed large projects over the tri-county area while always finding time for the students.
The current board has more money going to the administration than the classrooms. We need to look deeply at the budget and ensure that the taxpayer's money are going directly to the kids.
As a longtime coach, I know how sports, drama, music, debate teams, and other outside classroom activities are important to the kids/teens. We also need to focus on teens that are uncertain of their future after high school, and help them learn a trade, or hospitality job. All kids and teens are important to the school; it’s the responsibility of the board, administrators, teachers, coaches, and volunteers to get them all involved and ready for the next step in life.

My volunteer background includes:
- Oregon trail school PTA donor and volunteer
-Previous PTA president Mill Park Elementary
-USA Hockey lead Oregon and Washington coach in charge of coaching education
-Started, ran and GM of PSU Hockey team
-Coached Portland Jr. Hawks team hockey
-Served on Board of Oregon State Hockey Association and Portland Jr. Hawks
-Parent volunteer for Clackamas high cross country track equipment
-Assistant coach Clackamas Jr. football and also have
-Front End Manager for Clackamas annual Musicals
-Driver for Milwaukie high volleyball team (was able to get a donated tour bus)
-Horse stable volunteer for kids learning to ride
-Coach my son’s basketball and daughters tee ball teams.
I care deeply for the kids and teens.
I am not running to be a politician, I am running as a well qualified father and grandfather that cares for all the students.
