great way to deepen understanding

of complex issues together, and build

community grounded in making a

difference.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

For some voters the special election will represent the first time they have the opportunity to choose a leader who will influence the school board trajectory over the next four years. Each election is important, however, the increased awareness on school campuses and local communities is influencing voters. Socially conscious voters are listening intently to candidate’s platforms on a variety of issues including 5 full days of In-School Instruction, better professional & technical education, and more money for the classrooms. Voters have to recognize that elections for School Board, mayor, and city council will also take place in jurisdictions throughout the country. Returning and first time voters have the power to elect leaders committed to upholding sound education and eliminating barriers for children locally as well as underserved communities. Becoming actively involved in politics can led to systemic change. Become a volunteer today!
